PSARA Registration - An Overview

PSARA or Private Security Agencies Regulation Act is an act which was enacted in the year 2005 for regulating the Private Security Agencies. With increase in the number of businesses and modernisation of life style in the recent year the need for security has also shifted upward and we can witness and enormous increase in number of application for PSARA License.

Who can become the Principal Officer / Director?

  1. Individual should be Indian National.
  2. The Individual should not be minor.
  3. Should be financially sound enough to cater the business.
  4. Should have no criminal background or should have clear track record.

Who can be Security Guard?

Individual should be medically fit and sound.

Should be well trained with authorised training agency.

Should not be minor or not more than 65 years of age.

Should have no criminal background or should have clear track record.

The requirement of Documents entirely depends on the mode of entity which is applying for the license.
